Alexander Cvitan, K.D.
Alex grew up on the east declension in Falmouth Massachusetts located on Cape Cod. He graduated from American University in Washington DC with a BS degree in Biochemistry and returned to Massachusetts to attend medical school at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. He has interests in full spectrum primary care, complex chronic disease direction, palliative care, and patient pedagogy. Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending fourth dimension with his family, trying every new restaurant he tin discover, swimming, paddle boarding, and karaoke. Having never left the coast, Alex is looking forrad to new experiences in Vermont! 06/2019-06/2022
Wyll Everett, M.D.
Wyll is from Middletown Springs, VT, a rural town nestled in the northern extent of the Taconic Mountains. He studied Neuroscience at Wheaton College, MA earlier attention medical schoolhouse at the University of Vermont. He is eager to continue his grooming in Vermont, developing the skills necessary to have care of people in pocket-size towns like the one in which he grew upwards. He is interested in wide spectrum, patient-centered family medicine including preventative care, obstetrics, pediatrics, urgent intendance, and inpatient medicine. Delaney Osborn, Yard.D.
Delaney is originally from Delaware, but has spent virtually every summer of her life sailing on Nantucket Island. She went to the Higher of William and Mary for undergrad where she studied neuroscience and philosophy. Before heading to medical school she pursued a masters caste in philosophy of medicine at Male monarch'south College London and in her spare time that year she poured pints at her neighborhood pub. She returned to New England for medical school at Dartmouth and quickly vicious in dear with every specialty she was exposed to, leading to the obvious choice of going into family medicine. She is particularly passionate about women's health, obstetrics, pediatrics, and infectious disease. Her dream is to practice in rural New England so she is very excited to go started at UVM! Outside of medicine she enjoys running, writing, snowboarding, baking, and singing to Taylor Swift. 06/2019-06/2022
Alex Power, One thousand.D.
Alex grew up outside of Detroit, Michigan. He received a BS in Biomedical Science and Chemistry from Grand Valley Land University, too as an MS in Medical Science from Wayne State University earlier attending Cardinal Michigan University College of Medicine for his medical degree. His interests outside of medicine include spending time outdoors, backpacking, and rock climbing, making Vermont a perfect identify to work and play. Alex too enjoys playing music with friends and solving Rubik'southward cubes. 06/2019-06/2022
Katrina Sexauer, M.D.
Katrina grew upward in Chandler, Arizona (a suburb of Phoenix), and attended the Academy of Arizona where she received a caste in biochemistry. During her last yr of undergrad, she moved to Montana to acquit research in organic chemistry. While there, she found chemistry both in and exterior the classroom when she met her husband, Gustave. She then attended Creighton University for medical school, and spent two years in Omaha, and ii years back home in Phoenix. Tahlia Wolfgang, MPH, D.O.
Tahlia grew upwards in littoral Rhode Island and attended Carnegie Mellon University where she majored in biological sciences. An undergraduate medical mission trip to Belize inspired her to pursue a Master's of Public Health degree from Boston University. Afterwards, she worked for almost five years at a Boston area hospital in pediatric quality and patient prophylactic. Tahlia went on to earn her medical degree from Academy of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. Tahlia'southward passions in family medicine include maternal and child health, clinical quality improvement, wellness disparities research and care for the underserved. Her interests exterior of medicine include spending time outdoors (particularly kayaking and fresh h2o fishing!!), watching New England sports and enjoying fourth dimension with friends and family. 06/2019-06/2022

Eli Goldberg
Eli grew up in Shelburne, Vermont. He is a graduate of Oberlin College, where he majored in Archaeology and Classics and wrote a thesis virtually ancient Roman roof tile. After college he worked in homeless outreach at the AIDS Foundation of Chicago, then as a medical assistant at Planned Parenthood. While there he discovered that he loved collaborating with people to support their health, and decided to get the kind of doctor he wanted to see more of in the world. He went to medical schoolhouse at the Academy of Vermont and is delighted to be staying at UVM for residency. Eli enjoys the wide scope of family medicine and has particular interests in mental wellness and addiction, pediatrics, preventative intendance and education, and LGBTQ health. Kathryn Grenoble, Doc
Katie grew up in Berkshire County, Massachusetts spending every summer paddling and hiking the Adirondacks. She studied Political Science at UVM and afterwards hopped the pond to earn an MA in International Public Wellness from the University of Copenhagen. Having learned that main intendance and preventative medicine are foundational to constructive heath systems, Katie returned to the University of Vermont for medical school. She is delighted to be remaining at habitation in Vermont for residency and hopefully much longer. Her interests include full spectrum master care, rural medicine, behavioral health, and wilderness first response to proper noun only a few! She can most oft be constitute in the mountains hiking or skiing. Cecily Kennedy, Md
Cecily is from Kentucky - born, raised, and educated at that place. She attended the University of Louisville for undergraduate and medical school, and is stoked to move closer to the mountains! After working in wilderness therapy in southern Utah, she has come to deeply appreciate what fresh air can do for a person. Her particular interests in medicine include women'southward health, LGBTQ wellness, palliative medicine, and serving populations routinely excluded from our healthcare organization. Her interests beyond medicine include biking, rock climbing, and dancing to high-quality tunes. She is so excited to have the opportunity to live and train in Vermont!
Ruth McGovern, MD
Ruth was born and raised in Vermont. Afterwards graduating high school, she attended Dartmouth College, where she studied ecology studies and anthropology. She somewhen institute her way to medical school at Brown University, where she developed a particular interest in master care, rural wellness, and environmental and social justice. She is thrilled to return habitation to Vermont to continue her training in family medicine. During her free time, she enjoys blistering pies and exploring the mountains on ski and pes with her family. 06/2020-06/2023
Samia Mirza, Practice
Samia was born and raised in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, but is a native of Srinagar, the summer uppercase of Jammu and Kashmir, India. At the historic period of 15, she moved to Canada and her hometown is at present Milton, Ontario. She attended the University of Toronto, where she specialized in Molecular Biology, following which she earned her Master'southward in Global Health at McMaster University, and worked on various local and global women's health community interventions. For medical school, she moved to New York Urban center to attend Touro Higher, where she further grew her interests in community medicine and working with underserved communities. Samia'southward interests in family medicine include women's health, obstetrics, customs medicine and wellness finance. Samia is very excited to exist attending UVM Family Medicine and learn full-spectrum family medicine in many various inpatient, outpatient and rural settings. She also hopes to further explore her passion for long walks and hiking in Vermont. Jennifer Scontras, Doctor
Jenny grew up along the beautiful coast of Saco, Maine. She attended Brandeis University, receiving majors in Neuroscience and Biology and a minor in Classical Studies. While in college, she pursued an involvement in emergency intendance and became an EMT, working at both her college and local European monetary system section. She attended Tufts University School of Medicine in the Maine Track, at that place discovering passion for longitudinal, whole person care for rural communities. LAUREN ADAMS, M.D.
Lauren was built-in in Alabama, spent vii years in Germany while her mom was in the army, and ultimately grew upward in Blacksburg, Virginia. Despite the strong boondocks rivalry, she left Blacksburg behind to attend the University of Virginia just upwardly the route, where she received her BA in Mathematics and Economics. After graduating in 2012, Lauren worked for an economical litigation consulting firm in Washington, D.C., for several years with the intention of applying to police school. Instead, during this time her interest in medicine grew and she decided to render to UVA for medical school! Many experiences during her medical schoolhouse journey, including volunteering with the local free clinic, solidified her involvement in Family Medicine equally well as practicing medicine in rural underserved communities. She is thrilled to join the UVM family unit for this next stride in her medical training and can't wait to explore the Greenish Mountain State! Her interests outside of Family medicine include spending time with her husband, daughter, and pup, as well as running, climbing, hiking, snowboarding, and playing lath games. 06/2021-06/2024
KATE GESCHWIND, K.D.
Kate grew up in snowy Minnesota, where she attended school for both her undergraduate and medical degrees. She received a B.S. in Genetics, Jail cell Biology and Development and B.A. in Castilian from the University of Minnesota, and remained at the U of MN for medical schoolhouse. Her four years in ovarian cancer research at the academy sparked her love of women's health which she is excited to incorporate into her family medicine practice. She is also interested in obstetrics, sports medicine, and global medicine, and enjoys academic medicine and instruction. Outside of work, Kate enjoys running all distances, from 5Ks to ultramarathons, Nordic skiing, hiking, and backpacking. 06/2021-06/2024
ASTRID KEMPAINEN, M.D.
Astrid grew upwards in Chazy, NY, a small boondocks on the NY side of Lake Champlain before attending Connecticut College where she studied biology and was a fellow member of the soccer squad. Prior to medical schoolhouse, she spent two years with an AmeriCorps program, educational activity math to elementary students. Astrid attended Tufts University Schoolhouse of Medicine and joined their Maine Rails plan where she was able to spend her 3rd twelvemonth in beautiful Bar Harbor, ME. It was there she developed an involvement for rural medicine forth with obstetrics, women's health and emergency medicine. Exterior of medicine, Astrid enjoys all things outdoors, soccer, hockey, checking out local breweries and lath games. She is excited to return to Lake Champlain and to take advantage of all of the adventures and dining the Burlington area has to offer! 06/2021-06/2024
STEPHEN KLIPPENSTEIN, D.O.
Stephen grew upwardly in Reno, Nevada. He graduated from the University of Nevada Reno with a BS in Biology and then went northward to Oregon for medical schoolhouse. He attended Western University of Wellness Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine. In medical schoolhouse, Stephen met his fiancé Nikki, a current Anesthesiology Resident at UVM. Together they enjoyed line-fishing the Wild and Scenic rivers in Oregon and climbing and snowboarding the Pour Range. Stephen looks forward to making long term relationships with patients and is interested in full spectrum primary intendance, palliative care, and wilderness medicine. Outside of medicine, Stephen can be plant snowboarding, fly-angling, and mount biking the beautiful Vermont wilderness with Nikki and their dog, a ten-pound Pekingese named Wonton Soup. 06/2021-06/2024
MEGHAN LANE, One thousand.D.
Meghan was born and raised in Connecticut. She studied Behavioral Neuroscience at Quinnipiac University before earning her medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. Now that she has completed her education in Connecticut, Meghan is looking forwards to the new adventure of joining the Vermont community. She is ecstatic to remain in New England to pursue her dream of providing loftier-quality, patient-centered care to people of all ages. Her interests in medicine are vast, including women'southward wellness, pediatrics, LGBTQ health, mental wellness, and pedagogy. Outside of medicine, Meghan enjoys spending time with her friends and family, watching NFL games (peculiarly the Patriots), and playing board games. 06/2021- 06/2024
ANNE WOOLF, Thou.D.
Annie was born in Acton, MA and received a B.Southward. in Biology at Tufts University. She also attended Tufts for medical schoolhouse, where she spent time volunteering and after working with Boston Healthcare for the Homeless. From this experience she adult a special interest in caring for the underserved, besides as habit medicine and mental health in primary intendance. Other interests inside FM include palliative intendance, women'due south health, and sports medicine. In her spare time, Annie enjoys being active and spending time outdoors with her husband and dog (Riley, a rescue pup from Aruba). Out of the three, Riley is the only ane who has always lived outside of Massachusetts but they are very excited to explore the Green Mount Land in all of its seasons. 06/2021- 06/2024
